ATTENTION: NEW NAIW/IAIP DESIGNATION - CIIP (Certified Insurance Industry Professional)
Beginning July 1, 2011, NAIW/IAIP members will have the opportunity to earn the Certified Professional Insurance Woman/Certified
Insurance Professional Man/Certified Insurance Industry Professional (CPIW/CPIM/CIIP) and the Diversified Advanced Education
(DAE) designations.
Members may apply for the Certified Insurance Industry Professional (CIIP) designation in lieu
of the (CPIW/CPIM). The requirements for the CIIP designation will be the same as the CPIW/CPIM.
Beginning July
1, 2011, if you currently hold the CPIW/CPIM designation and you would like to transfer to the CIIP, please email your request
to membership@naiw.org. Applying for your Insurance Broker/Agent license? Starting
on 04/02/2011 PSI Services, LLC, a California-based
company providing state-based regulatory licensure services, will begin handling the scheduling of examinations for individuals
licensed by the California Department of Insurance’s (CDI) Producer Licensing Bureau starting with examinations that
are taken on April 2, 2011. Instructions for scheduling examinations will be posted on PSI’s website
at www.psiexams.com (PSI News) beginning on March
7, 2011. Individuals may schedule their examinations with PSI either online or by telephone.

Homeowners' Insurance Valuation: CIC Section 1749.85(a) requires Property Broker-Agents, Casualty
Broker-Agents and Personal Lines Broker-Agents to complete training in the proper methods of estimating the replacement value
of structures. This requirement shall be part of, and not in addition to, the California resident licensee's continuing
education requirement. One time requirement: 3 hour continuing education class. Would
you like to become eligible to hold your own Continuing Education classes? We are pleased to present an overview

****ATTENTION CISR'S****
Want
to be able to receive a free update for your CISR designation? The National Alliance has created a pilot program for
California CISR's.
If you are an "active member
of NAIW" as well as having completed the CISR designation program offered through the National Alliance, you may be eligible
for a free update! Just take one (1) new participant to a core CISR class and if you both complete the class, you will

**New Designation Available**
Attention
INS 21, 22 and 23 Certificate holders!! AICPCU and the Insurance Education
Association (IEA) have a new designation available for those who have completed the three INS Insurance Courses (INS21,
INS22 and INS23). It is the "Associate in General Insurance" (AINS) designation. All that is required
for certificate holders is to go online at aicpcu.org and complete the FREE Ethics 311 class For more information,
you may contact customer service at the Institutes at (800) 644-2101 or email Customer Service at cutomerservice@theinstitutes.org. The information for this new designation is posted on the AICPCU website www.aicpcu.org. Please note that there are no CE credits associated with the Ethics 311 class and it will
not apply to your California Insurance License.

REGION VIII SCHOLARSHIP:
Imperial
Premium Finance, Inc. established the Region VIII Scholarship fund for the purpose of providing financial assistance to the
Regional VIII NAIW members who need assistance for the insurance educational endeavors. It continues with the assistance
of A. Marie Yarbor and Brady, Harbord & Payne Insurance Brokers and donations from Associations in Region VIII with the
objective of promoting professional insurance education among Region VIII NAIW Members who are members in good standing with
NAIW and have been for at least one year prior to application to the fund. Check out the

CE Class ProvidersBelow is a list of Continuing Education Class Providers who are certified with
the State of California Department of Insurance to offer classes for CE credits, and provide these classes for little or no
cost to the hosting organization. These providers have graciously allowed us to list their contact information here.
When
booking a class with any of the below listed CE providers, it is the responsibility of the host association to verify
with the provider that they are still authorized with the California Department of Insurance as a Continuing Education provider
and that the class being offered has been cleared and authorized with the DOI. The following link has been developed
